Friday 5 + Life Lately

Whew! That was a quick week!

I totally forgot to post my Friday Favorites last week!! So here's a recap: My brother flew in town on Sunday and stayed until Tuesday which made our week that much better. I got my first all natural (+ pregnancy safe) facial at Credo Beauty... I am learning so much about natural beauty products thanks to them. I also began using all new Juice Beauty products on Monday, which I am really loving so far... so stay tuned for an updated post about my real reviews on those products because I don't want to speak too soon! But- I couldn't believe how many of you are already using and LOVING Juice Beauty, so that was really neat to hear!

David and I took it easy last weekend, I've been having a hard time with pain in my ribs from this baby! So, by 6pm you can find me trying to find a comfortable position on the couch. We celebrated Valentine's Day at home but I am planning a little surprise for the hubs in a few weeks.. Eek!!

We've been getting some awesome packages in the mail for the baby- and I cannot wait to share all of my favorite items!!! The nursery is definitely our favorite room in the house, we just love to sit in it at night and talk and David loves to read to the baby... we finally set up his furniture! Last week we got to see the little guy again, I am measuring 3 weeks ahead... taking bets on how big this baby is going to be!

I hope everyone had a great week! What are your plans for the weekend?

Here are my 5 favorite items of the week:

1.

Becca Blurring Setting Powder in Golden Hour | $38

Becca Blurring Setting Powder in Golden Hour | $38

I dug through my mom's makeup bag when she was in town a few weeks ago and might have accidentally borrowed this powder and forgot to give it back to her before she left! I have heard so many awesome things about this magical dust from my friend @lindseyreganthorne at Be Pretty... if you don't follow her yet, she's one of the best... and I add every product that she backs up straight to my cart. And they have ALL rocked! So, when I saw this in my mom's bag I knew I needed to see for myself. Welp.... it is magical dust and it is amazing. I have been using my oil + moisturizer, swiping on concealer under my eyes, and dusting this powder all over. It allows you to skip foundation when you're on the go. It also keeps your concealer in place ALL DAY. This is definitely the best setting powder I've ever used (I used to swear by tarte, but this is better!). It has a hint of glow + radiance... blurs imperfections, fine lines, etc. MAGIC!!!!

2.

14k Rose Gold Fill 'LOVED' Cuff (Custom Stamping Available!) | $54

14k Rose Gold Fill 'LOVED' Cuff (Custom Stamping Available!) | $54

In case you missed it on my story last week, here is my first collaboration piece with @psfortysix! I am so excited + grateful to work with Kaci on a new piece each month, and even more excited to give you guys a chance to GIVE BACK! For the month of February, 20% of your purchase from @psfortysix will go directly towards Danita's Children in Haiti. Use MADISON10 for a little discount AND to make sure your purchase goes towards something good!

Here is their mission:

'At Danita's Children, we provide a safe-haven for abandoned and vulnerable children, while encouraging families to stay together through our education and malnutrition programs. We follow God’s call to rescue, love, and care for orphans and impoverished children. We believe that when we do, we are following Christ's commandment and are acting as His hands and feet. It is not just the responsibility of those who are called to full-time ministry to be concerned, but it is the responsibility of all believers and Christ-followers.'

3.

I shared these wedges on my story this week as The Dupe Of The Day which y'all seem to love! If you can't tell, this style wedge (with the ever-so-flattering ankle strap) is THE SHOE for spring and summer. This is by far the best dupe that I have found for spring... The original see by Chloe pair are $190 and there is no difference! These shoes have amazing reviews and are sold out everywhere except for here... and there are limited sizes available, so if they have your size... grab them now!!!

If you can, go ahead and splurge on the real deal! The foam sole/platform makes them super comfortable, everyday shoes!

4.

I've now been using this everyday for almost 2 weeks and it's safe to say it's replaced my foundation for the time being! It's filled with all natural, amazing ingredients and it leaves my skin feeling supple and radiant... it doesn't have full coverage, but it really helps conceal my fine lines and uneven skin tone with tinted coverage. It also has SPF 30 which is super helpful for me because I never wear sunscreen!!! So terrible! I will love this once the baby comes, because it shortens my makeup routine by another minute!

5.

Free People Henley Top | $68 (5 other colors here)

Free People Henley Top | $68 (5 other colors here)

Here is the top that I shared earlier this week on my story! I plan on wearing this top ALL the time once the weather gets a little nicer in Dallas... I think white will go best with anything and everything. It is a great top to rock now with the bump but will also be perfect to throw on with jean shorts come summer. The buttons will be great for nursing (if you're a nursing mom, this top is a must!!) I love that you can wear it so many different ways + it also comes in 5 other colors.. see how it's styled differently here!

I hope you guys find these little items helpful and you love them as much as I do! Let me know if you get anything, I can't wait to see!!

Hope you guys have the BEST weekend!

You are super duper loved-
